Every year at this time millions upon millions make their New Year's Resolution and every year a month from this time millions upon millions fail at this "resolution." Why do we as a people feel the need to make a resolution in the first place?

To some there are goals they want to accomplish such as eating less, spending less, or some other self imposed goal. Every year though it is virtually impossible for us to meet those goals because there is not enough discipline or desire to meet them.

The problem is that we can never keep that "constancy of purpose" in our minds and hearts to complete that particular resolution. I find the same thing in the spiritual sense today with many. We say a lot, but find little "constancy of purpose" to complete our intended task. We do not grow spiritually because we do not have the constancy of purpose that is needed to actually gain ground.

That is why I propose that instead of a New Year's Resolution we start making a New Year's Resistance.

I believe that it is time we start "opposing" the enemy that is keeping us from gaining spiritual ground as an individual, church, and country. It is time to get serious with God and stop making resolutions that we never intend on keeping.

It is time to start Opposing RELIGION in our churches because religion will never save ONE single person. It is time to start standing up for the truth and stop cowering to what it may do to our social standing. I have yet to find ONE time where Jesus was more concerned with His social standing than condemning the "religion" of the Religious leaders. I have yet to find ONE time where the disciples were out to build numbers in their ranks instead of true "Disciples" of Jesus.

It was the "RELIGIOUS" that persecuted Jesus and the disciples and it is the same today. Stand up for purity in the churches and see how welcomed you are! Stand up for less entertainment and more serious prayer and TRUE moving of God and see how well you are received. PRAY for God to strike down anyone that is faking His gifts and see how quiet the church becomes. Pray for more "Ananias and Sapphira" incidents to purify the church and see how attendance drops.

People, in case you have not noticed, things are not getting better. Where is this great "outpouring" like the churches have been promising? Wake up and smell the coffee, it isn't happening. What is happening is more and more show business in the churches and less and less discipleship and true spiritual maturity.

There are now reported human clones and the debauchery of the human race is on a record pace straight to hell. We have a war looming on the horizon and Muslims that want to destroy America given the chance. What is the church doing to stop this? NOTHING!!!
They are too busy trying to impress themselves and everyone else by wearing their nice suites and spouting their fancy clichés. While they are doing nothing to reach the lost and build disciples and instill spiritual purity among themselves.

We could very well be seeing the end of times forming right in front of us and there is no more time to play church. It is time to make up your mind as a Christian and decide if you want to continue down the road you have been on, or if you want to make a change in this life and your spiritual condition.

If you are ready for a change then it is time for you to make a New Year's Resistance!
