When Will The World End?

If you are familiar with the story of Babel and why it was that God dispersed the people, then you are on your way to understanding how to distinguish the time we are in. They were all of the same language and they had the capability of accelerated knowledge. What about the increase of knowledge in the past 50 years? What about the increase of violence? With the technology we have today and the continued advancement we are now living in the modern days of Babel. Jesus gave us many signs to look for and things that would be apparent in the end of time. This question alone could contain volumes to adequately supply an answer. I will try to keep it brief and supply links to other pages on the site that will address it further.

What the Bible Says:

Daniel 12
4: But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 all cover the end time prophecies. I will list that listed in the book of Matthew

Matthew 24
1: And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2: And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8: All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24
36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.


Matthew 24
33: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

2 Thessalonians 2
1: Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5: Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6: And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.


Luke 12
35: Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
36: And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
37: Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
38: And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
39: And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
40: Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.


There are many more scriptures that could be added but for brevity I have only listed those above. So much can be said but basically there were many things said about what would be happening at the end of time and we are basically seeing all of those things happen in our day. Never before in the history of man has the timing been so right and agreeable with the scriptures as it is today. We are at that time! We are at the door.

Israel became a nation again in 1948 and they took Jerusalem back in 1967 and Jesus was making reference to this when He referred to the Fig Tree in Matthew 24:32-35. It is true that all the things listed in the prophecies concerning the end of time have been happening since the time of Jesus. The difference is that they have been increasing steadily and raising at rapid speed in the last 10 years. Jesus also compared the end time signs to that of a woman in labor with child pains. As she gets closer to delivery the pains increase in severity and frequency. That is what is happening with all the prophetic signs concerning the end of time.

We are in the very end days and all the prophecies have been fulfilled that are necessary for Jesus to return. All that is left is for the anti-christ to be revealed and the Tribulation period to start.
