Vs. 1 - Look back in time to when the Pilgrims were searching for freedom to worship and seek God in what they believed to be a deeper way. They were constrained by the State Church of Rome, but knew that there was more to what they were being taught. The urgency was so great that they were willing to leave Europe, their ancestors and possibly some of their family to travel to a land they did not know. A land across the great sea that they had not even seen yet.

Vs. 2 - America truly did become a great and mighty nation in a short period of time compared to the rest of the countries of the world. America was blessed with a rich economy and produced more missionaries of the Gospel than any other country. America was the beacon of hope to all that sought freedom and many gave their lives trying to reach this country that promised so much.

Vs. 3 - This blessing was strictly applied to the Jewish people, but America was blessed as long as it held to its Biblical foundations. This country has also held its blessings because it has always supported Israel and the people. God truly did, and has blessed America

Vs. 7-8 - America birthed some great revivals, moves of God and men of God. America started at the altar and was blessed as a result.

Vs. 9 - Egypt is always depicted as a type or shadow of sin. America has been traveling south toward sin since 1962 when the government turned its back on Godly values. The government allowed a small group to turn around all the moral standards this country adhered to for almost 200 years. By allowing God to be removed from our schools our government effectively turned its back on God.

Vs. 10 - America is now living in sin and there is a severe famine in the land of the hunger or even acknowledgment of God. The moral tailspin which started in 1962 has grown to the point that we are now in worse shape than Sodom and Gomorrah was. This country legally protects the killing of over 1,000 innocent babies a day. Homosexuals are forcing their views and perverted lifestyles on our society and the government is condoning it. This country has truly done a complete 180 Degree turn from the way it was founded. The founding fathers would extremely saddened and irate to see what this country has turned into. God will judge this country it is just a matter of when that will happen. God did Bless America and now God will Judge America.
