God's Word to the Lost

All are in sin: "None Righteous, no not one." Romans 3:10-20

1. By nature "Born in sin" Psalms 51:5 "Children of wrath" Ephessians 2:3

2. By choice "Loved darkness rather than light" John 3:19, Isaiah 53:6

3. By practice "All have sinned" Romans 3:23, Matthew 12:30, James 4:17

Consequences are sure: "The wages of sin is death" Romans 6:23

1. Condemned already "Because he hath not believed" John 3:18, Galat. 3:10

2. Under wrath "The wrath of God abideth on him" John 3:36, Romans 2:5

3. Death "Worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched" Mark 9:48, James 1:15, 2Thessalonians 1:9

Cannot save yourself: "He that believeth not shall be damned" Mark 16:16

1. Not by works "By grace are you saved, not of works" Ephessians 2:8-9

2. Not by baptism "Without shedding of blood is no remission" Hebrews 9:22

3. Not by conduct "Then Christ is dead in vain" Galatians 2:16-21, Acts 13:39

Salvation is for all: "Whosever believeth" Acts 10:43

1. God's desire "Not willing that any should perish" 2Peter 3:9

2. God's proof "Gave his only son.....Christ died" John 3:16, Romans 5:8

3. God's plan "No other name" Acts 4:12, Romans 10:4, John 5:24

Come as you are: "Though your sins be as scarlet" Isaiah 1:18

1. God saves sinners "Of whom I am chief" 1Timothy 1:15, Luke 19:10

2. God saves ungodly "They that be whole need not a physician" Matthew 9:12

3. God saves to the uttermost "Able to save" Hebrews 7:25, Philip. 1:6, Jude 24

Condition is simple: "Repentance toward God, faith towards Christ" Acts 20:21

1. Turn from sin "Except you repent, you will likewise perish" Luke 13:3

2. Turn to Jesus "As many as received him" John 1:12, Acts 16:31

3. Trust God completely "Able to keep" 2Timothy 1:12, John 6:47, Romans 10:4

To delay is dangerous: "Thou fool, this night thy soul is required" Luke 12:20

1. The time is now "Now is the accepted time" 2Corinthians 6:2,

2. Will be cut down "Why cumbereth it the ground" Luke 13:7

3. No escape "If we neglect" Hebrews 2:3, Matthew 25:10, Proverbs 29:1

Evidence of Salvation: "If you love me, keep my commandments" John 14:15

1. Confess Jesus "Whosoever shall confess me" Matthew 10:32, Romans 10:8-9

2. Obey Jesus "What so ever I command you" John 15:14, 1John 2:4

3. Follow Jesus "Follow me" Matthew 16:24, 28:19, Luke 6:46, 1John 3:16
