The sad truth is that the Palestinians will never make peace because that is not what they really want. They want the Jewish people completely destroyed and annihilated and so does the rest of the Arab world. The Palestinians cry that they are in "occupied" territory yet not one Arab nation with the THOUSANDS of square miles of land they own has offered a state to them. Why?
Because it would not accomplish what they all want in reality and it has nothing to do with the land, but rather the complete riddance of the Jewish people. God made it very clear that anyone that cursed the seed of Abraham would be cursed and anyone that blessed them would be blessed. America is walking on the fringe of losing that blessing by continually sidestepping the real issue and being hypocritical with Israel in its support. America is also trying to pressure Israel to give up it's God given land and it's rights to it so these TERRORISTS can have a state in the midst of them. Do you think for one moment that America or any other country would succumb to this type of arrangement? America can go and bomb the country of Afghanistan with no hesitation and threaten to attack Iraq yet they turn around and continually force Israel to negotiate with Terrorists. You can't get much more hypocritical than that and God will not withhold the judgment that America is accumulating as a result.
This conflict goes all the way back to Abraham and his two sons Isaac and Ishmael. The illegitimate son born to the Egyptian handmaid, Ishmael is the lineage of the Arab nations. They claim the rights through Ishmael when God made it clear that the promises to the Jewish people were through Isaac alone. Ishmael was to become a great nation and people and indeed they are today. Unfortunately, their claims to the promises are false and God has promised that He will not allow Israel to be taken by them.
God bless Israel and may God keep His sovereign hand upon the land where He chose to allow His name to rest and may we continually pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.
