Judgment Begins at God's House

Each day we sit back and watch the news and see the current events taking place right in front of us and it is like a movie unfolding which in this case we know the ending. It is shocking to stop for a moment in time and think that we are witnessing things that are pointing and quickly leading to the end of time. The event that we as Christians have based our faith on and look forward to with awe and wonder. Regardless of what view you believe about the timing of the Rapture things are escalating rapidly. Are we ready for what lies ahead? Are we prepared to stand before God right now and be comfortable with what we have done in our Christian walk?

Sunday February 10, 2002, Kevin Wilson, Jeff Kieffer and myself went and talked to a man named Mohammed who happens to be the leader of the Islamic Center in Evansville. We witnessed the best we could to this man and discussed the differences in the two methods of Salvation. No, Mohammed did not convert on the spot, but God can always use the seeds that were sown whenever He chooses. What was the most heartbreaking moment of the time we spent there was when we were leaving. There was a class apparently getting ready to start for children and there were already about 10-15 children there. There was a mixed variety and yes there were American children there. The saddest moment was looking at these children and knowing that they were being brainwashed by this ungodly belief. My wife recently heard a report on the radio that since Sept. 11, Islam is claiming more converts than in the past 10 years. The shocking part of this report was that the majority of them are college students. I know that we have the liberal media to partially blame for this and even our own president for promoting this belief while trying to be politically correct. Unfortunately there is never a time to be politically correct when souls are at stake. Even so, they are only partially to blame, so who is responsible for carrying the rest of the blame? We are, the "CHURCH" for failing to portray the proper image of the Bride that we are commanded to do. The arrogance and sin that has run so rampant in our churches in this country have stained the bridal gown and it is not shocking that the lost see little help from us and turn to the world. I am not speaking in an individual basis because I know full well that there are many out there that try the best they can each day to walk and serve as required.

The Bible does say that "judgment must begin at the House of GOD" and I for one believe it is the midnight hour and judgment is necessary NOW! When I looked at those children it was like a cold breeze blew right through me and there was a big emptiness as to what I could do to get them out of there. I wanted so badly to grab each one of them and carry them out of there and tell them the truth. Yet, there are literally millions of them all over this country that are in these types of beliefs and what has the "Church" done to prevent that? I will tell you, Absolutely NOTHING!

The Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons devoutly go door to door and hit any and all public gatherings to win converts. Where is the Church? We are quick to sit comfortably in our pews and ridicule them and call them a cult but we sit back and allow them to reach our neighbors with their lies, yet we never darkened their doorstep with the truth! Do we really Love our Neighbor? We go to festivals to have fun but never think of witnessing or passing out literature for salvation! I am sorry for the tone of this letter but I cannot hold it in, it is like Jeremiah said, "fire shut up in my bones" and I am so tired of "Church" and "Religion" that I could vomit! When were we planning on saving the world around us? When were we going to share Christ with our neighbors, co-workers, everyone? Tomorrow? People, tomorrow may not get here, wake up and look at what is happening in this world.

I have never seen a clearer picture of the church described as Laodicea than that of America and it's Churches. I would like to inform you of something that your pastor will never tell you, "you can go to church all your life and make every service and still not make it to heaven!" Going to church will not save you and it will most certainly not save your neighbor! When will the "Church" wake up and see the children and feel that cold breeze blow through them? I want to tell you that the majority of those calling themselves Christians are nothing more than what Jesus described in Matthew 21:19. Plenty of leaves but no fruit under those leaves and they better wake up before it is too late! People we do not have the luxury any more of going through the motions and playing "Church" it is time for judgment to begin at God's house and it is time for real Christians to lead the way. If you don't get out of your little comfort zone on your own then the flames will move you, but then it will be too late for you. It is time for the leaders in the churches to start preparing their people and stop producing spiritual invalids. There is no time for armorless Christians, they cannot save these children! As Joshua said, "Choose you this day whom you will serve!" If you are not going to act as a Christian then STOP claiming to be one!
