About John:
I was born in a very remote area known as Ugunja 34 years ago to a very poor family in Nyanza Province-Kenya.Am the 3rd born in a family of 9 thus 6 boys and 3 girls but 2 boys and a girl have since died. When I was only 6 years old. My Dad lost his sight thus worsening the situation for us given that my Mother was only a housewife. Getting food to eat and going to school for us was not easy but through God’s mercy I was able to go to school though through difficult condition that I always do find it hard to expound.I went to school barefooted on many occasions empty stomach and with torn clothes in the name of school uniform.Due to hash condition my studies were terminated due to lack of tuition fee at my 11th grade but thanks be to God because I had known God while in high school.Even though it was so painful to drop out of school I did not loss hope and thanks be to God who later made me His servant to transform the lives of many.
I have faithfully and fervently serve God for the past 16 years and my dear ones life fully given to God is God-filled life and he who is after God’s own heart God will always stand with him.He has faithfully stood with me just like any other beloved one outside there.He has stood with me through many storms and am still seeing His mighty hand protecting me in all that am undertaking in His glory.As the bible says that it is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of the Living God its 100% true.
May I say that I was not saved because I was handsome,loving,caring,kind,generous,honest truthful but I was saved by God’s grace.My salvation is not in vain and am always proud of it because am seeing the fruits of salvation daily in my life.After Christ had transformed my life I went on my knees praying for the entire family to know Christ.Am happy to say that everyone in the family is saved by the precious blood of Jesus.With God all things are possible.We have become the example in the village.God can make nobody to be somebody.Ohh…what an awesome God we are serving?See Ps 130.We have seen broken marriages amended in Jesus name,the lost saved the Educated and uneducated saved,the broken hearts amended,the sick healed in the name of Jesus and the captives set free all in the name that is above every name Jesus Christ.
HOW MEN OF FAITH FELLOWSHIP CAME INTO BEING
After having confessed Christ as my personal savior I devoted all my life in faithfully serving Him and I had that burning desire to know the truth and be closer with the Father and know more of Him.
"He sends forth his commandment upon earth:
His word runs very swiftly" (Psalm 147:15).
No language ever stirs the deeps of my nature like the Word of God,
and none produces such a profound calm within my spirit.
As no other voice can,
it melts me to tears,
it humbles me in the dust,
it fires me with enthusiasm,
it fills me with pleasure,
it elevates me to holiness.
Every faculty of my being owns the power of the sacred Word.
It sweetens my memory,
it brightens my hope,
it stimulates my imagination,
it directs my judgment,
it commands my will, and
it cheers my heart.
The word of man charms me for the time,
but I outlive and outgrow its power.
It is altogether the reverse with the Word of the King of kings;
it rules me more sovereignly, more practically, more habitually,
more completely every day. Its power is for all seasons-for sickness
and for
health,
for solitude and for company, for personal emergencies and for public
assemblies.
I had sooner have the Word of God at my back than all the
armies and navies of all the great powers, aye, than all the
forces of nature; for the Word of the Lord is the source of
all the power in the universe, and within it there is an infinite
supply in
reserve.
I started reading much about God and thanks be to Him for I was filled by the Holy Spirit.I was stirred by the great men of faith such as Charles Spurgeon,Smith Wigglesworth,Austin Sparks,T.L.Hosborn,Tommy Tieney,Arnest Angley the list is endless.For those who have read about the stated these men of God will agree with me.It was in this context that God directed me to start a fellowship under the name of MEN OF FAITH FELLOWSHIP and have clear vision.I started the fellowship with my precious wife only 10 years ago and today we are over 100 members with 3 churches and this is not our great joy for our greatest desire is to remain in the faith , let people know the know the truth and win many souls for Christ.
Many people have turned the word of God as a source of generating income.Am sorry to say that we are not for that kind of gospel.Mark 8:36.Well we may accept cheerful,willing,voluntarily and love offerings from beloved saints but strictly for God’s work eg paying church rent,meeting crusade,seminar etc expenses.We cannot stop anyone who has God directed to stand with His work,but it must be in good faith.
OUR VISION IS HUGE AND AGGRESSIVE
1. To plant more churches and win many souls for Christ.God does not take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,but rather they turn from there ways and live.Ezekiel 33:11
2. Have a very powerful and vibrant fellowship of God’s own standard and that God may continue giving more grace to realize our goal
3. Support the orphans,widows and widowers. James 1:27.Here we are believing God to stand with us because i as the founder of this fellowship is jobless and most of the members too are struggling to make all ends meet but the response to the message of God is owesome.Many have the hunger for God’s word
4. That we purchase our own plots and set up churches because it has been a real burden to pay rent for all these years.That God open a way for the plots and building.
5. In Zach 4:9 and I believe that is what He is saying to me about fellowship.He told me to establish.We are the end time and its only truth that will set us free and not worldly materials .Please stand with us in completing the work given.We are working tirelessly .What we have started I trust God will accomplish.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. This assembly of believers shall stand for the Holy Scriptures as the All –sufficient Rules for faith and practice.
2. To bring glory and honor to the mighty God by promoting true worship.
3. We believe the Bible to be inerrant and infallible inspired authoritative word of God 2nd Peter 1:21
4. We believe in the Holy Trinity that Godhead consists of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. Three in one and one in three.
5. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. His incarnation crucification divine-bodily resurrection, His ascension to glory and His promised second coming.
6. We believe in salvation through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ Heb 9:22 by His grace only.
7. We believe in Jesus’ power to save ,to heal and to sustain Christians to live Holy and pure lives.
8. We believe in observance of water baptism to the saved ,public Holy matrimony, dedication of children and the Lord’s supper as commanded in the Holy Bible.
9. We believe in the baptism of the Holy spirit with manifestation of speaking in tongues Acts 2:4,10:46,19:6 and the Preset Ministry of the Spirit in and through the believers as manifested in the Ministry Gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. Eph 4:11, 1 Cor 12:9-11 and Gal 5:22-23.
10. We believe in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous and (eternal punishment for the non righteous) and eternal punishment for the wicked .Math 24:31-46.Acts 24:15 and Rev 22 :11.
11. We believe that scripture teaches that there is one true and living God ,who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father ,Son and Holy Spirit .Deut 6:4 ,Isa 43:10-11 Math 28:19 and Lk 3:22
12. We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. Isa 53:4-5, James 5:14-15 and 1 Peter 2:24
13. We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man ,regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential Lk 7:50,24:47, Rm10:13-15, 1 Cor 1:18, 2 Cor 2:15 Eph 2:8-9, 2 Tim 1:9, Titus 2:11,3:5-7.
14. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Holy life. Rm 8:5, Ph 2:12-13, 1 Thes 4:3 and 1 Jn 2:29.
15. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ ,that He is the Son of God and the Son of man, that He came to save men from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him .Matt 1:23, LK 1:31,35, Jn 3:16, 1st Cor 15:3,2nd Cor 5:21
16. We believe scripture as scribe to the Holy Spirit the Acts and attributes of an intelligent being and that the works of God such as creation ,inspiration ,giving of life, and sanctification are ascribed to the Holy Spirit. Gen 1: 2, Job 33:4, Mark 3:29.
17. We believe the Bible to be given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible and God’s revealed word to men.
FRIENDS ARE FROM GOD
Strong friendships can be made,the call of God can be realised,hearts will be melted and challenged and unity in the body can be formed as we come together with a common purpose and God to share the great love of God
It only takes a moment to whisper words of praise,to thank God the blessings we all receive each day

OUR PRAYER
Father, we ask You to abundantly bless every beloved saint who is going to email us and team up with us to further your word far and wide .Show them a new revelation of your love and power .Father we ask you to minister to their spirit and meet all their prayer needs according to your riches in glory.Farher,where there is pain give them your peace and mercy.Where there is self doubt release a renewed confidence through your grace .Bless their homes, families ,finances,their goings and their comings.In Jesus precious name.Amen
