Testimony of Rev. Rao

 Let me narrate our total testimony : My wife (Rev.Mrs. Shobha Rao) was suffering from Ischmic heart Disease, LVB, Malabsorbtion Syndrome, Intestinal perforation, Anaemia and 11th Legimental Fracture after all surgical and medical avenues failed to cure her, We visited all Major Hindu Temples and Performed Idol worshipping in the most tradition methods. So may occult practices were performed by calling many Big occultists in India. We have spent Enormous amount of Money. But of no use. For 8 years she was bed-ridden for want of healing. NO use-not even a bit. None of the Medical facilities, Idol worships, occult practices, Money could not bring her even a fraction of relief for 8 years. When all avenues closed and she was counting her days, un-knowing to her the reason, she was almost carried to the Gospel meeting site on 11th Dec. 1988 in a tricycle and she was made to sit near a pole by stuffing the space with pillows to give comfort to her. The prayer, songs are over and the message part was began. The preacher was giving the message on the creator and the creation he said worshipping the creation instead of the creation is a great Sin. He says it is like spiritual adultery. Till than she was thinking that after her death. She will go to heaven only because she thought she is nice and spiritual.

All her good deeds will take her to heaven. Now suddenly realized, that all her good deeds with-out faith is of no use, She suddenly realized that she is no longer righteous - no longer she reaches the God after death. She learnt that so far she was worshipping the creation but not the creator she immediately sought pardon forum the Lord. Since than without knowing to her-self she was standing, Sitting, Praising the lord, singing etc. for 2½ hours, except the first 30 minutes. Soon after the benediction is over, she picked up her pillows and started walking back to her brother who was waiting out of the pendal to take her home. Halleluia! the miracle wonder working of the Holy Spirit brought the manifestation of healing into reality. All the diseases and disorders disappeared on the spot by the grace of our wonderful and mighty God of impossibilities. My brother in law who saw all this miracle was dumb - struck with heart-felt happiness and surprise. With in a fraction of a second she God healed completely against all medical and religious remedies. They wore happy and went home. Next home they went to a cardiologist and got check-up done. He was also a strong Orthodox Hindu. Witnessing to him is a revelation to him also about the mighty power of Jesus. Since than she accepted the Lord and choose him to be the God and savior. When all this happened I was out of station and came home next day and I too was happy and thank full to the Lord.

Yes! in India still 950 millions are un-saved and 700 millions are unreached. The religious Spirits had an upper hand here. People hear are very religious and involve themselves basically in Idolatry, Occult - Practices, Animal - Sacrifice etc., they are fervent in their beliefs and cults with cast ridden society. Must be, as you professed, the God has saved me from a High caste Hindu Society and placed me in India to stand as 'His Testimony'. As with my testimony I will be able to penetrate into the proud High castes. Soon after the miraculous healing - even after the doctor confirming the total physical healing - I was inspite of utmost happiness and thankfulness to Jesus on whose name this happened to my wife. I was very adamant to be completely in Christ. I don't want that it should be made public. I informed my wife and family to be secret Christians. I was not fully aware of the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because of my ardent, Traditional Hindu concept, I could not understand the true God. For a Hind there are 3 presiding deities in 'Brahma'.

The God in Charge of Creation, 'Vishnu' the God of Maintaining and sustaining the creation, 'Siva' - the God in Charge of perishing the creation. And innumerable other Gods totalling 3.3 millions lower in their cardairs catering to various needs of the creation. All of them had specific images, shapes and colours some in the forms of mighty birds and animals even the deity of sustaining the world had 10 incarnations on earth in different ages. All of them are being worshipped in billions of temples. Hindu Elders fixed different days as their birthdays, marriage days & special worship days. Most of these 3.3 million Gods & Goddesses had spouses and children whom Hindus worship. For every sin they commit, certain worship services, spiritual remedies and material fine are prescribed. Once you do them you are exonerated from the repercussions of our Evil acts. People are pardoned and blessed by their good deeds and actions. So in my life till than I was living the life of the choice of my flesh and mind. Even the innervosce is choked and silenced in fulfilling my lusts and needs of flesh and mind. Every inequities, every sin & every trespass can be getrid-off by performing some type of worship service in a temple. Once that is done not only sin, trespass, inequity but the total guilt is washed off. And we will be given a fresh license to do any thing we like to do. A totally happy life of flesh & Mind. In addition my high caste birth gave my family a pseudo-respect in the society to live with an elevated pride in our day to day lives. More over if I accept Jesus Christ, the society equate me and my family with the Low Caste Christians, because in India Christianity is being treated as religion of Lower caste. In the caste - ridden Hind society once I embrace Christianity my family will be treated as out caste and none of my own caste and community people will allow me into the social and family functions of our relatives and they pass-on the strictures that no one should marry my sons and daughters in our high caste or community. Even financial, business and professional contacts will be cut-off I was afraid of these social repercussions as I was also thinking till than that Christianity is a religion. In India caste & community plays major role and controls every avenue of one's life as all social customers are inter linked with-in their own community including marriages. So while appreciative of the power of Jesus Christ, with my religious back-ground I could not distinguish between the true God and the so-called 3.3 million Gods & Goddesses with whom I got associated for 40 long years of my life. I told my wife that God is one only, Religion is away of life, caste is indicative of your choice of God in the creation, community is for the elevated choice in the Indian society - every religion will name the same God in different names - Jesus Christ is another incarnation of 'Vishnu' in this world, as you are healed in His name. Let us worship him also keeping his statue in our worship room, if you want a Christian pastor should come to our house to pray we will call him as we call our Hindu religious leaders - but let us not come out openly as Christians as in India by embracing Jesus Christ, We loose our position, status & standing in our caste community and society.

Our daughters will not get good Bride - Grooms, our children for generations as out castes.... But my wife being spoken by the God to stand as a witness to the power of Jesus Christ through Holy Spirit as she has a personal experience with the God. She insisted that all the other so-called Gods & Goddesses whom. We worshipped for decades are proved futile all religious worships, occult practices, tantric acts failed utterly. They could not bring peace, serenity & healings to us - for a whole decade we are in utter disease. Confusion - choice - Disease as a result of Costly treatments, worship services, practices, disruption of the professional work resulting in financial debacle - fear & frustration ruled us - the religious status, The elevated community, religiously rich rituals could not bring the needed healing. Even the science and technology remind as on-cookers. Only the word of God, in Jesus Name brought me the much needed - more awaited - medically impossible miraculous manifestation of the Holy Spirit... So God is only one who is Jesus Christ God wants me to be the public testimony of His power and divinity... so let us go public for Jesus Christ. She is adamant ... I am equally adamant in an opposite direction. All the happiness the family received through the healing got evaporate soon. Utter confusion, hatred, difference of opinions. Personal preferences, religious conflicts appeared. Satan created the differences. By hook or crook he wants us not to come into Christ. My wife tried to speak with me with Love & reason. But satan filled me with fear and religious spirits. My wife went on fasting till God speaks with me prayer fully. I love my wife - still the medical knowledge prevailed over - Her fasting entered 3rd day, I am afraid of her physically getting weak. I requested her to stop fasting - if not she will become weak and may die. She continued fasting saying that the God will speak with me. I scolded her, My blood pressure went up, my patience ended, I called her by names, I ridiculed Jesus Christ. I told her to die, became furious and left my home with anger, frustration. Took my 350 cc 2 wheeler and left in a fury.. came on to the Highway - I don't know where I am going at a High speed on the rickety Indian roads. I am direction less... if I continue like that I might have dashed to some tree or vehicle and died on the spot. After about 30 minuets journey at a lonely place unknowing tome I applied the breaks and parked the vehicle under a big tree, Sat there for some time slowly my anger went down, my peace returned, I was cool - calm - serene, the fear disappeared, the assurance returned - some one is speaking through my inner voice. Thoughts of my past & present over whelmed me. I started realizing the power of Jesus Christ. His miraculous power. Yes! God is speaking through an inner voice. I was convinced of many doubts. Tremendous courage came into me. New revelations of the true God engulfed me. Suddenly I realized my mistake - I felt much regrets for calling my wife by names, insulting Jesus Christ and my wife and ridiculing them, doubting the power of the God and fearing the repercussions of the society. A Big decision took root in me to live or die for Christ. I turned back my vehicle came back home. Went into the room where my wife is praying still. Without my knowledge tears rolling down my eyes, my heart is filled with repentance, I have fell down on the floor and subbing and weeping. I am begging for pardon of my sins, I am chanting the name of Jesus Christ. Yes! I am now brought by the Holy Spirit into His way. My wife was consoling me. Hours went by like seconds.

That is an wonderful experience of enjoying the presence of God with us. What a day of bliss, rejoicing and happiness through out my life for decades of religious fervor and traditional practices I never experienced that peace, courage and assurance. From that minute our lives changed. We resolved to be in Jesus Christ's way for ever, what ever be the circumstances. With in 20 days of the miracle happened in my wife's life we were into a church on 01-01-89. Praise the Lord! Than started a series of repercussions, insults, fury and atrocities on us by the high caste Hindu society. Our open proclamation and acceptance of Jesus Christ. Has kindled the fire in them. They became satan provoked & mad on us. The first act is a false case under drugs & cosmetics act was attributed to me. After prolonged legal battle for 3 years inspite of the lower courts found me guilty and passed on a verdict of one year imprisonment on appeal to the higher court, the honorable seccisons judge found me 'not guilty as there is no prima-facie existed in t he case and passed on the strictures to the authorities in pursuing the case with no basic evidences. Even the fine paid by me in the lower court was returned to me. All other accused in that case were acquitted. Praise the Lord - that is the day that the power of Jesus Christ was once again manifested and excelled over satanic forces in our lives.

We were threatened - many attempts to physically harass took place. The trial to burn us alive by stocking hay around our house was thwarted by the God during one dark - midnight anattemat of bombing our house by country bombs was averted by the timely intervention of some unknown friends. My 2nd small children by name Gospel (previously Gopal - a Hindu diety name) and Hannah (Previously Hanuma - Another Hindu God's Name) were ridiculed and insulted in their school and made to quit the school during half-way as they were forced to chant the Hindu worship songs by the authorities of the school. The pharma - company for whom I was working as formulation and marketing manager terminated my services. The house - owner served us with an eviction notice. In that small country town where we were residing inspite it being my ancestral place, people refused to lease their houses to us. Suddenly the whole process of our life took an unexpected torn. Friends became foes, neighbors became enemies, relative became stronger. Every minute in the town became restless. But God had other Ideas. He force us to quit that town. New opportunities created - new avenues shown. We shifted our residence to the city of Hyderabad - Capital city of Our Province Andhra Pradesh. There we prospered for 5 years. We have grown-up in lord and his word. The Holy Spirit guided us to scriptures. My wife was being called to different churches to witness for Christ. Slowly wit some like-minded women believers, she started to speak about the Gospel by delivering her testimony in Hindu localities. All denomination of Christians and churches are calling us to preach & testify. We came out of the bondages of caste and community. The shackles of traditions and culture were broken. I was called to be the consultant for half a dozen small & medium pharma companies. Slowly the heavy debt was cleared. My eldest son and also my elder daughter were given in marriage to born - Christians irrespective of caste & community. We are enjoying the presence of our Lord in our lives. Many temptations, problems, troubled cropping up satanically. By God's grace, in the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ, every problem is receiving answers. We are hope full that any un-answered question and problem in our lives will definitely found everlasting solutions in Jesus Christ in His appointed time. We were called to his ministry in 1995, in another city near by name Vijayawada. Wife was ordained as a pastor and I was commissioned to be an Evangelist in a Big function. Nearly 100 God's servants from all denominations gathered to ordain us (consisting of Anglicans, Lutherans, Baptists, Mennonites, Methodists, Pentecostals, charismatic etc.) We have started an Bible College - Especially catering in the evening also who can not join in regular bible colleges in Aug. 1995. $ batches of student graduated and 5th batch is running out of more than 80 students graduated nearly 20 started their churches in Urban - Rural areas. WE have adopted the church at 'Narasaraopeta' where we were saved and expanding our rural - church plantation in many villages, supporting rural pastors. Started a 24 hours prayer cell catering to all the prayer needs of people who call by utilizing our God given medical knowledge in treating poor - sick people in rural church based medical camps. Educating the rural believers in adult literacy, covational guidance etc., educating Aids awareness and counseling in evangelistic way conducting pastor training cams conducting open Gospel meetings in rural an d tribal areas. Encouraging rural - tribal pastors etc., all the financial requirements were provided by my professional income. But God's call for me to come into his full-time ministry has forced m to quit my profession & business and came into his full time ministry from 1999 only and I too got ordained to be 'His SErvant'. There is a big hike in the ministry. It is prospering beyond expectations. The proposed bible academy, Destitute home, Children Home, a large covational guidance centre, Tribal churches, high way churches, a mini hospital for God's servants, an AIDS counseling an d treatment centre with evangelical concept were taking shape but for paucity of funds. We are confident of the Almighty's provisions, co-operation of like - minded God's servants such as your good selves and prayers of innumerable intercessor, world wide.

The Indian Scenario is fast changing. Political equations are getting altered. During last 4 years we have seen 3 general elections. In India people are peaceful, religious and tolerable in general. For almost 1900 years the evangelistic activities in India re totally peace full but for occasional, Isolated incidents of harassment to Christian - cause. But in these last days as seen world wide - since a couple of years atrocities on Indian clergy and Christians are increasing considerably as follows.

Atrocities on Christian :

Last month the Second Son of Rev. P.P. JOb was knocked by an un-known car while he is walking in the college resulting in his death. The miscreants supposed to be some religious fanatics. This month while my Son Gospel is driving our old ministry car, an unknown truck (might be of some religious fanatics) and sped away resulting in total damage on the right side necessitated with almost $2000 repair job to be road-worthy again. It is a vintage 1987 model faithfully serving our women's team headed by my wife Rev. Mrs. Shobha Rao carrying them at least 1000 km per week into our dusty & difficult to commute rural areas fortunately by God's grace my son was scratch free and totally un-hurt beyond imagination. Our God has a plan for him. He is aged 20 now and he was miraculously saved involving in many accident. In 1996 on August 22nd while he is on a two wheeler, a heavy truck come from behind and hit him resulting in his falling on the truck side and both rear wheels going over him. He was in the Hospitals for 5 months resulting in many ribcage and 3 pelvic fractures, severe haematoma, double by pass surgeries for intestinal damage and hundreds of sutures necessitated for innumerable cuts. On the day of intestinal by pass while he is under ventilators in ICCU, the post-operative prognosis became doubtful as the attending doctors said what all we could do we have done and it's left to the god to do the rest. WE know that all these doctors and medical facilities are only the instruments of grace in the hands of our Diving healer and Ruler. God in His grace and power brought him back to life and we dedicated him for God's will to utilize him for his purpose. He completed hi under - graduate education now. He is just 20 and I request you to pray for Him. God in his grace conducting innumerable medical miracles in my house including a revival to normally of my mother from a paralytic stroke and totally bringing back to life my brother-in-low Dr. T.P. Rajasekhar from a cardiac - stroke who was once a chronic alcoholic and tobacco user, gave up his addiction over night spoken by the Lord.
