The Abortion Scenario of Today

The People Before:
"The whole group rose up and took Jesus before Pilate, where they began to accuse Him, "We caught this Man misleading our people, telling them not to pay taxes to the Emperor and claiming that He Himself is Christ, a king."

The People Now:
The people rose up and took the unborn children before the Supreme Court and began to accuse them, saying, "We caught these things threatening to use our resources and pollute our lands. They will cost us taxes, and they claim to be human." They will be a burden and will impede on our freedom we had before they arrived.

The People Before:
"So Pilate asked Him, "Are you a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. I was born and came into this world for this one purpose, to speak about the truth. Whoever belongs to the truth listens to Me."

The People Now:
So the Court asked the children, "Are you human then?" The children answered, "Do you even have to ask? We want to be born to give witness to the truth. We are children of God just as you. Do not be afraid to admit the truth about us." "And what is the truth?" asked the Court.

The People Before:
"At every Passover Feast Pilate would set free any prisoner the people asked for. At that time a man named Barabbas was in prison with the rebels who had committed murder in the riot. When the crowd gathered and began to ask Pilate for the usual favor, he asked them, "Do you want me to set free for you the King of the Jews?" He knew very well that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him because they were jealous. "But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to ask, in stead, for Pilate to set Barabbas free for them."

The People Now:
The Court knew that the children had been handed over because they caused pain and worry, and tied their parents down and put a strain on the budget. So they said to the people, "Which do you want, the responsibility of the children you have produced, or a life devoted to your own ease and whatever pleasure you can buy?" The people answered, "Give us our privacy so that we may do whatever we wish."

The People Before:
"What then, shall I do with Jesus called Christ?" Pilate asked them. "Nail Him to the cross," they all answered. Pilate asked, "What crime has He committed?" "Then they started shouting at the top of their voices, "Nail Him to the cross!" When Pilate saw that it was no use to go on, but that a riot might break out, he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd, and said, "I am not responsible for the death of this man! This is your doing!" "The whole crowd answered back, "Let the punishment for His death fall on us and on our children!" Then Pilate set Barabbas free for them and had Jesus whipped and handed Him over to be nailed to the cross.

The People Now:
"What then, shall I do with these children?" asked the Court. "Away with them!" they all answered. But the Court asked, "What if they are human?" Then they started shouting at the tops of their voices, "Away with them!" Finally the judges washed their hands of the whole affair and said, "We cannot say whether these beings are human or not. Take them yourselves and kill them. It is a private matter between a woman and her doctor. We are not responsible for their death." The people answered back, "Let the punishment be upon our children!" Then the Court handed the children over to be done away with.

As of 2004 over 43,000,000 babies have been aborted!
What can be said about a nation that has become so barbarous that there is no conviction over this unthinkable atrocity? What can be said about those that place "freedom" above morality? What can be said of a nation that promotes perverseness and stifles truth, integrity, morality, compassion, and any other virtue that may conflict with unbridled freedom of "choice"

I will tell you what can be said:
God will judge this nation and every individual that is guilty! As Christians we should pray and boldly proclaim the truth regardless of consequence from a liberal society.
