The Wrath of Revelation

I have compared the events described in Revelation known as the "Wrath" poured out by God during the tribulation period. It is quite interesting that the three segment judgments are all virtually related in content. It is as if they are just varying degrees of the same event, such as a progression in severity. It is also apparent by looking at this chart that these events are not necessarily in the right chronological order.

I know that we are told that we will be blessed for studying this particular book and that is my prayer.

Bowl Judgments

# 1.) False Christ - White Horse (6:1-2)

Hail - Fire - Blood - 1/3 of all green things burned (8:7)

Sores on those with the Mark (16:2)

#2.) War - Red Horse (6:3-4)

1/3 sea becomes blood and sea creatures die (8:8-9)

Rest of sea turned to blood (16:3)

#3. ) Famine - Black Horse (6:5-6)

1/3 Rivers and streams become bitter - Wormwood (8:10-11)

Rest of Rivers and streams become blood (16:4-7)

#4. ) Death - Pale Horse (6:7-8)

1/3 Part of sun, moon and stars blackened - darkness (8:12-13)

Sun scorches men (16:8-9)

#5. ) Martyrs (6:9-11)

Creatures from Pit torment those with Mark - 5 months (9:1-12)

Darkness and pain from sores (16:10-11)

#6. ) Earthquake - Sun black - Moon turns to blood, stars fall - signs in heaven (6:12-17)

Army from China(?) killed (9:13-21)

Euphrates river dried up to make way for the armies of East (16:12)

#7. ) Fire from censor cast on earth - Earthquakes, lightning, etc. (8:1-5)

Jesus reign foreseen - Temple seen - Earthquake, lightning, hail etc. (11:15-19)

Voice from heaven - Earthquake, lightning etc. (16:17-21)
