Walking with God

Genesis 5:22-24

Enoch walked with God and Hebrews 11:5 says that he pleased God.

What would God say of you?

Those that are said to have "Walked with God"

Genesis 6:9

Noah was perfect in his generations and walked with God. In 7:5 it says that

Noah did all the Lord commanded him. Noah was obedient

Genesis 18:17-19

Abraham found favor with God and in Hebrews 11:10 it says that he sought a city

made by God - He sought God

12:7 - He built an altar

13:4 - he went back to the altar

13:18 - Built another altar

Chapter 22 - Was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice

What made Abraham a man that walked with God was his devotion to the altar - do you have time at the altar? Do you have an altar?

What about David, Daniel, Moses and many others whose heart's passion was to please God?

Genesis 3:8 - At one time Adam was able to "walk with God" literally at any time -

what would that be like?

Walking with God has certain requirements:

With Noah - he did all the Lord commanded

With Abraham - He continually sought God

For God to walk with you requires something also:

Deuteronomy 23:9-14

In order for God to walk in your camp you must be cleansed and that can only come through Jesus!
